| | James Thornton first announced he was leaving Emmerdale last summer, but he's had a lot of turmoil to face as farmer John Barton before his exit. Next week, that moment arrives, in a spectacular accident JUST as he and Moira were beginning to mend their almost-destroyed relationship.
James told us: "It has been fun working on something so big, but really sad as well because I've known all along that I'm leaving the show... It's quite gruesome. We've really gone for the horror that John and Moira both face."

Sadly, it's the final of Call the Midwife next week. Boo! But great news that it will be returning with another series. Its star Jessica Raines tells us how the show has changed her life.
