Four Cups of This Slashes Melanoma Risk 20%

You may already kick off each morning with a hot cup of coffee. And if you aren't, you might want to start.

A team of researchers at the National Cancer Institute and Yale University looked at medical data from nearly 450,000 people in their 60s. They found that drinking four or more cups a day lowered malignant melanoma risk by 20%.

Coffee drinkers enjoyed protection independent of other risk factors. Things like age, sex, physical activity, smoking status, alcohol intake, physical activity, and body mass index.

But there's a catch.

People drinking decaf didn't get the same benefit. In fact, they didn't see any anti-melanoma benefit. This is likely because caffeine is a vasodilator. Research shows drinking just five ounces of coffee can increase blood circulation by 30% in a little over an hour. And that's from about half a cup of coffee. So if four cups seems excessive… Just one cup can still provide benefit.

Boosting blood flow is an important factor in fighting inflammation. It means delivering more antioxidants—and faster—to the places that need them most. And that's critical. Especially when you consider the antioxidant content of coffee.

It's almost as potent blueberries. Coffee has about double the amount of antioxidants as most cooked vegetables. Now consider how many people drink it every day. It may be the top source of antioxidants in the typical American's diet.

Don't settle for the first coffee you can find. Find one that's organic. Try to buy from a brand that tests its coffee for mold. And stay away from sugar, artificial sweeteners, and creamers.

We already know that this drink helps keep your memory sharp and increases circulation. The more than 1,000 bioactive compounds in each sip may help you look and feel younger.

One of the biggest benefits to drinking coffee is liver protection. Health Watch readers know it can protect this vital organ from cirrhosis. Even the oxidative damage that leads to liver cancer.

Drinking coffee is a good start. But it isn't the only way to help lower your cancer risk. There are other natural solutions out there…

For example, Carol R., a retired schoolteacher. Carol's breast cancer diagnosis came in 2009. Mainstream treatments scared her. So she went to a specialized health facility in Wichita, Kansas for an alternative therapy.

Now she says, "Not only is the cancer gone from the inside, everything has improved…head to toe…skin, nails, hair, teeth, eyes…everything. I feel stronger than I did 20 years ago—which is amazing because I thought I was healthy then!"

Men over 40! Do you like what you see in the mirror?

You know, you can change that reflection.

One hormone—which decreases as you age—is responsible for that "V-shape" young men have and women love.

A doctor in Germany has shown that raising this hormone gives you decreased body fat, lower waist measurement, increased libido, improved erection, lower blood pressure, better cholesterol, and more.

You can do it all on your own, without a doctor's prescription.

You've got to see this.
